Wong to receive New Innovator award at IEEE NANOMED 2018

Tak-Sing Wong, assistant professor of mechanical and biomedical engineering, will receive the New Innovator award at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) International Conference on Nano/Molecular Medicine and Engineering (NANOMED) on December 2-5.
The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional technical advancement and innovation in the field of nano/molecular medicine and engineering in the early career. Wong’s research focuses on surface and interface, micro- and nanomanufacturing, as well as designing multi-functional biologically inspired surfaces with applications in water, energy, and health.
